The Starting Point
A real estate company sells apartments as investment properties through external consultants. The sales process ran on WhatsApp, email, and multiple Excel spreadsheets. One employee worked full-time maintaining documents in Dropbox and coordinating with consultants. Commissions were calculated manually – payments went to wrong IBANs because clients had provided multiple accounts. Reservations were managed through back-and-forth messages. Nobody knew at a glance which apartment was reserved, sold, or still available. As volume grew, it became clear: this won't scale.
